Women's Health Educator
Tia is an innovative seed-stage women’s healthcare startup for millennial women by millennial women. Our mission is to help women make independent and informed decisions for their own bodies, health and lives with confidence. Through technology, design, and a whole lot of sass, we’re reimagining women’s healthcare from the ground up. Today, Tia is a part-machine, part-human-powered assistant you privately message with about birth control and sexual health. Overtime, our aim is to establish Tia as the trusted women’s health brand and marketplace — the starting place for millennial women’s healthcare online.
We are looking for a highly passionate and motivated women’s healthcare educator to join our team of “Wing Women.” Wing Women are the heart and soul of Tia with the closest pulse to the user. Your foremost responsibility as a Wing Woman is to represent Tia by live-messaging with users. In addition, you will work with our content team to research, write and develop new content to expand Tia’s expertise across a variety of women’s health verticals.
What you’ll do:
Chat with Tia users live on the platform — providing human, compassionate, medically-sound answers to their questions
Research and write new content to expand the Tia bot’s bank of answers
Channel user feedback to product team and identify ways to improve the platform
You’re a women’s health champion and advocate, energized by empowering women, one woman at a time
You know the nitty-gritty science about women’s health, specifically birth control, periods & STDs — and have accredited women’s health certifications under your belt
You have experience working in a women’s health clinic or on a hotline, and know the boundaries of “clinical care”
You nerd out in academic journals, but know how to translate medical jargon into user-friendly human language
You’re in on the latest pop culture references, memes, and GIFs
Your EQ is off the charts
You’re extremely dependable. When you commit to something, you commit 110%
You excel at navigating ambiguity, and can identify problems and solutions quickly
Why you’ll love working with us:
We’re a small, yet mighty team that’s *obsessed* with helping women make independent and informed healthcare decisions with confidence
We champion individual ownership, self-starters, and personal growth on and off the job
Collaborative thinking is our mojo
We love hummus, red wine, and celebrating weekly #wins
